"In college, a friend gave me a card that said, ‘You are enough.’ It stung. It sounds silly, but I realized I didn’t feel that way. I was so used to being praised for how much I gave - to a degree how selfless I was. But, I didn’t feel worthy of love just for my pure presence. I’m choosing to believe that now."

If you regret some of the decisions you made in the past,
don’t be so hard on yourself.
At that time, you did your best with the knowledge that you had.
At that time, you did your best with the experience that you had.
Some of your decisions might have been coping skills and a time when you didn’t know what you know today.
If you were to make those decisions with the wisdom you have now, you would choose differently.
So give yourself a break and forgive yourself.
Time and experience has a wonderful way
to make us realize that we prosper,
grow and learn to make better choices today,
for ourselves and those we care for.
I literally just went from aw to wtf.
NO BUT THIS IS WHY I LOVE LAIKA THO,
there was this big uproar over a character from paranormal being gay, so what do they do? next movie, they make a commercial that THROWS THE GAY IN YOUR FACE. They’re literally not being subtle at all about their queer representation and I fucking love them for it
Throw the gay in your face is perhaps the best thing I’ve heard all week.
"I think I’m surprisingly different in real life than what people expect or what people project on to me. I’m not actually that awkward, I don’t think. I think people see me as this sarcastic person that doesn’t care about anything. But, on the contrary, I’m pretty emotional and sensitive and I care a lot about things and people. I think in moments where the spotlight is on me — like if I’m doing a talk show — my defenses come into play and maybe that’s why people see me that way. But, I think my sarcasm is often a way for me to get through those moments. I mean, if you came over to my house, I’d make you a cup of tea and be probably really interested in you."- Aubrey Plaza for Refinery29 [x]
